Dr Leanne Johnson

I am a Clinical Psychologist with post doctoral experience within child services both within the NHS and in independent settings. Previous to being a Clinical Psychologist, I was a qualified Special Needs Teacher, and continue to enjoy working closely with schools and parents. Since qualification, I have developed a particular expertise in working with children that are fostered or adopted (looked after children) and the associated services (such as social workers), and I am trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and the Incredible Years parenting programme. I have most recently been working in residential children's homes, providing consultation to staff teams to support them in implementing a psychological model.

I have the following qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology - University of Southampton
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education - University of Warwick
  • BSc (Hons) Psychology and Health Science - University of Liverpool

 

Dr Anna Risdale

I am a clinical psychologist with post doctoral experience within child and adolescent mental health services within the NHS. I have expertise with children and adolescents who are experiencing complex emotional and behavioural difficulties; working closely with families and support networks important in the young person's life. I have expertise in providing specialist diagnostic assessments for young people with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as intervention with these young people. I have additional training in parenting programmes, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I have the following qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology - University of Southampton
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health in Primary Care - University of the West of England (UWE)
  • BSc (Hons) Psychology - Cardiff University
